Hey lovelies, how time flies, isn't it? We are reaching the year end in a week's time. Reflecting on the year 2014, I am very thankful that I have been blessed in many areas. The saying is true, "How we leave this year will be how we enter the next." Let's all enter the coming 2015 with new hope, joy and expectations. (:
Anyhow, I'm so pumped to share my newest haircut and treatment with all of you! Took a bolder step and chop off my already short hairdo to a shorter length. I find it so amusing that ladies are often spotted with this pattern. (Or maybe it's just me...)
Before cut, Ladies with long hair: I feel like having a change of hair style ler. So sick and bored of my long hair. I wanna cut my hair short. But not too short. But I'm not sure if short hair will suit me. If it's too short, it will make my face rounder.. Yada yada...

After cut, Ladies with Short hair: I LOVE MY NEW HAIR STYLE!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LONG HAIR AGAIN!!! I should have chopped off my long locks long time ago. Dunoe what took me so long to do it. Now I am really loving my new short hairdo. I will go shorter the next round. It makes me look much fresher and younger than my previously fried, frizzy and damaged long hair.
If you find yourself having similar conversations with yourself, trust me, you are NORMAL! :D

I made an appointment with COVO Hair Salon for my new hair cut and Kerasilk Keratin Treatment.
The effects of Kerasilk Keratin Hair Treatment, which promised to last up to five months caught me intrigued, and I couldn't be more excited to have this treatment on my mane. Kerasilk penetrates the hair shaft to create new keratin bonds, I'm told. There's no formaldehyde in the product which is a big plus.
To begin with, I have naturally wavy hair that has been colored, permed, straightened for over hundred times?? Usually in the morning, I have to spend 20 minutes to blow-dry and straighten my wavy qq hair before I leave the house every day. If you have seen my previous photos, my hair ends are so damaged that the only solution is to chop them off!
My dedicated hair stylist, Yuya, took a look at my hair and decided that I should tame my frizz and soften my fresh hair cut. The Kerasilk treatment took close to 1.5 hours. That was considerably long , but I'm not complaining given the goodness the treatment will bring to my mane!
A quick sharing of the entire process:
My hair was shampooed with the Kerasilk Purifying Shampoo, then blow-dried by hand only until about 80% dry. Lotion was applied to every hair strand and I'm left to sit for 15 minutes. The results were quite slick with the formula on, and Yuya proceeded to use a flat iron to smoothen my hair. I'm given yet another wash with Kerasilk Shampoo and he blew dry my mane and smoothed Kerasilk Serum over my hair. Guess what was the outcome?
I was greeted with a relaxed, frizz-free and natural-looking hair with high gloss! As I ran my fingers through my hair, there were no tangles, no roughness. There was no pungent smell from the treatment, and the silk effect on my hair is said to last up to 5 months! Boy, I AM SOLD!!
