Starting the countdown to the end of 2014. Looking back the year, I've been blessed with much more than I could have asked for.
Anyhow, I am excited to share one of the latest happenings in my life - me musking up the courage to chop off my long locks (after 5 years of having long tresses)!!
You may be curious as to what triggered me to chop off my long tresses? Seriously, I have no idea why. I've been contemplating the transformation for years and months, just that I couldn't bring myself to do it whenever I visit a hair salon. I guess I have the same concerns as many of you ladies out there.
"What if I look ugly after the hair cut? How long will my hair grow back? It's too short. I am so regretful of cutting my hair now. I look fatter and rounder with this new hair cut...." yada yada yada
But this time round, something in me prompted me to take a leap of faith, and to just cut it. Well, to be honest, I was just sick and bored of seeing the long, dry and frizzy tresses day in and out, spotting the same hairstyle to work and to events. I need a brand new image in 2015. And yes, I am a lover of change. (:
You know there is this saying, "A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life." How apt is this.
Here are some pics of my hideous, ugly long and dead tresses for you! Just the flyaways alone reduced my attractiveness level by 50%! Neither does it look smart or sexy. Haha!
